Custom Gadget - Any item can be mechanically upgraded for any number of uses, giving it special properties or maybe even additional capabilities. When a character is granted a Custom Item from the Level Guide, he may receive it with a variety of enchantments already in place, but if he wants to upgrade it further with technological powers, the Solaris Laboratory is the place to get it. Each custom technology must be completely unique, just like any Custom Item. (Type: Gadget, Notes: Unique)

Distress Beacons - As a small, square, metallic device, they easily fit into most pockets or whatnot. Examining it, it looks very simplistic, being a square cube, with three colored buttons, from left to right, green, red, and blue. The beacon itself does nothing alone. But when programmed to communicate with another beacon(s), they can be very powerful. The green button will send out a signal to anyone who also has a beacon with them. The red button signals their location and notifies others that they are in danger or distress and are requesting assistance as soon as possible. The blue button temporarily shields the user for one force attack, reducing the next attack by 50%. Someone can teleport themselves from one beacon's location to another by using the device and holding the green button for three seconds. The only thing is that one cannot teleport if they are not in a relaxed state. Teleportation is dangerous if the body's blood pressure is too high, therefore, the device cannot be used in combat situations. One can teleport to someone in combat, just not out of combat. (Type: Gadget, Notes: Common)

Infoview 6000 – The Infoview 6000 takes the form of a wristwatch. This watch has a holo-screen that shows a small globe of Planet Solaris. Solaris Central Laboratories

Welcome to the personal Scientist Shop of Krauser Killener in the Broken Isles. If you've found a piece of ancient technology lying about, or buried, this is the place to bring it! The technology in this facility has the ability to unlock the hidden potential of many ancient marvels of technology. You may also purchase gadgets and other items that have designed with modern resources. The store has a built in smart-machine designed by Krauser Killener that designs and builds items for inhabitants of the surrounding areas when he's not around. These labs are owned and operated by Krauser Killener himself, although he sometimes allows other scientists to work with him.

Lab Technologies

Ability Remapping - Using a technology similar to what the Arena of the Elites uses to revive fallen warriors, this procedure allows the remapping of one's neural pathways. This procedure is done by harnessing the memories, brain waves, and thought patterns of an individual and restructuring their neural pathways to allow the individual to unlearn a previously developed custom ability, which opens up an ability slot. It may be used to revise an ability or drop it entirely to replace it with something else. This works in any situation for any race. (Notes: Tech)

Price: 100 GP per 500 EXP

Class Remapping – Using a technology similar to what the Arena of the Elites uses to revive fallen warriors, this procedure allows the remapping of one's neural pathways. This procedure is done by harnessing the memories, brain waves, and thought patterns of an individual and restructuring their neural pathways to allow the individual to specialize in an alternative character class. (This replaces their previous selection.) This works in almost any situation. The only way to reverse the procedure is to have it redone. (Notes: Tech)

Price: 50 GP per 500 EXP

Race Remapping – Using the same technology the Arena of the Elites uses to revive fallen warriors, this procedure allows a being to alter his or her race. This procedure is done by harnessing the memories, brain waves, and thought patterns of an individual and restructuring their old body into a new one of a new race. The patient's essence is removed from their old body and secured. The old body is then scanned and broken down to the very base elements (oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, etc, etc). While the breakdown occurs, the process of reconfiguring a new body is started. After the proper adjustments are made to the patient's genome (the full DNA sequence of an organism) the process of rebuilding the being's body is begun. Using the same technology used to restore fallen warriors of the Arena, only modified a bit to allow for changes, the patient is restored in his or her new body. The procedure has a very low failure rate, and in fact, only two percent of individuals fall victim to cell mutation, or... other problems. (Notes: Tech)

Price: 50 GP per 500 EXP

Class A Mechanoid – This is the largest mechanoid companion available. They are typically gigantic creations that may be used for vehicles, among other things. They typically have a somewhat primitive form of artificial intelligence, but get the job done fairly well. Most citizens use this type of mechanoid as a method of travel, as well as a companion. These mechanoids almost always have the ability to take on multiple vehicle modes, usually giving them multiple methods of land travel, air travel, water travel, and the more advanced sometimes come equipped with the ability to travel into space. Class A Mechanoids are large enough for the user to ride inside of, usually with room to spare, and at times with extra storage space. They can be customized to fit practically anyone’s needs upon request, but they are sometimes very expensive. (Type: Companion, Notes: Unique)

Price: 10,000 GP

Class B Mechanoid – This is a medium sized mechanoid companion. They are typically large enough for most citizens to ride upon, but not use as a vehicle like a Class A could be. Like the Class A, they have a somewhat primitive form of artificial intelligence but still make very lovable companions. Most citizens use this type of mechanoid for a land mount, although they may be built to fly. Unlike a larger Class A Mechanoid, the Class B is ridden like a horse in most situations, although they can be customized to fit just about anyone’s needs upon request. (Type: Companion, Notes: Unique)

Price: 5,000 GP

Class C Mechanoid – This is a very small mechanoid companion. They are typically tiny enough to fit in a backpack or even sit on a shoulder. As with previous models, they are equipped with a somewhat primitive form of artificial intelligence but always make wonderful companions. Most citizens use this type of mechanoid as a small pet they can rely on for various tasks. Many times, these mechanoids have the ability to transform into various useful tools, most even include a type of vehicle mode, such as a hover board. These mechanoids are very customizable. (Type: Companion, Notes: Unique)

Price: 1,000 GP

Void Storage Cube – This impossibly tiny metallic cube is capable of storing ten additional pieces of equipment for a character. It's exactly one-cubic-inch in size. The owner simply presses the surface of the cube in two key locations, tosses it on the ground, and it will expand into a large chest that opens into a pocket dimension. This is the same type of technology that allows the Arena of the Elites in Elyndaar City to shrink to such an impossibly small size. (Type: Gadget, Notes: Common)

Heavy Equipment

Archaeon’s Might – Forged in the depths of hell, this powerful blade has filled many legends and tales over the past several centuries. Stories once told of the great demon Archaeon, who once served as a Smith to the evils of hell. His forging powers were grand. Archaeon’s Might was one of his final works. When the demon disappeared one day, so did his weapons and creations. Centuries later, lucky servants of hell began to find these rare artifacts scattered amongst both Hell and Earth. And after more decades had passed, Archaeon’s Might turned up in the lands of planet Solaris. Archaeon’s Might is a smaller sword, resembling that of a longsword, having a thin, yet long blade. The blade itself is made from steel and forged within hellfire, giving it a very strong exterior and also giving it the sharpest edge and increased movement. The entire blade is shiny silver and radiates with a slightly red-colored hue around the blade itself. The blade is three and a half feet long, and one and a half inches wide starting at the base. The hilt is forged from gold, with demon-hide leathers wrapped around it. The hilt is eight inches long. At the end of the hilt is a black orb. (Type: Weapon, Class: Medium, Quality: Noteworthy, Notes: Unique)

Price: 4,500 GP

Crystal Sword - This sword is about four foot in length with a seven-inch hilt. The making of this sword is very complicated as rare metals are used for the inner core shaft, then sand is blazed with certain chemicals and put into a cask with the shaft. After several weeks of intense heat on the cask, the sand becomes a glass-like substance that is almost unbreakable. The sword turns an iridescent blue after it has cooled and can cut almost anything with its razor-sharp edge. (Type: Weapon, Class: Medium, Quality: Common)

Price: 150 GP

Double-Sided Iron Axe - This is a fairly large, double-sided ax made of iron with an Osperwood handle. Both blades are crescent-shaped, while one is near twice the size as the other and because of this the ax isn't very well balanced but it has multiple uses. The front blade is about one foot in length, while the back blade, the smaller of the two, is only 6" in length. The Osperwood handle is about 24" in total length and is very sturdy. (Type: Weapon, Class: Medium, Quality: Common)

Price: 150 GP

Dungesta - The sword of myth and legend in ancient Greece was once thought to be broken and lost. It was found by a young warrior of Earth, embedded in a tree, almost as if it was apart of the tree itself. It arrived on planet Solaris when the young warrior first appeared, and when the young warrior was slain in combat the sword was left to rust in the Kazarial Desert. It is ancient, but a very finely crafted sword. The sword is nine feet long, the hilt being two feet and the overall blade seven feet. This weapon has a double-edged blade and split in the middle to look like two swords, but meets together on sides of the sword in the middle, it has very sharp edges along its blade, more like teethed edges, and a red ruby and blue sapphire on each side of the sword. The specific offensive purpose of the greatsword is derived from its physical shape. All parts of the sword are used for offensive purposes, including the pommel and cross-guard. The handle and shaft stretch up about five and a half feet, made of pure steel, hollowed and filled halfway with a type of liquid metal. The head of the hammer is about a foot wide, foot tall, and about two feet in length. Zen's Shop of Horrors

Welcome to the personal Enchanter Shop of Zenatory in Roshema Village. If you want a certain item, weapon, or armor enchanted with a specific energy or special ability, this is the place to request it. Check down the list to see what we can do.

Relic Quality Upgrade

Upgrade Relic Quality - Purchase this to upgrade your relic to the next level of quality per the Equipment Guide. For example, if the relic is currently of noteworthy quality, this will upgrade it to remarkable quality.

Price: 5,000 GP

Enchantments

Aqua Strider - Usually placed on clothing items, this enchant allows the user to treat the surface of the water as a solid surface. He can choose to forgo this at any time and pass through the surface of the water like normal. With this enchant, a person could walk, lie down, or do flips across the water. He can even climb out of water that he is already submerged in, using the surface as a ledge to climb up on. This enchant gives the owner no bonus against water-based attacks or abilities. (Type: Enchantment)

Price: 100 GP

Family Curse - This enchantment places a curse on an item, weapon, or armor that prevents those unrelated to the owner from using it properly. Any non-family member treats weapons as improvised, receives no defensive properties from armor or shields, and cannot activate any functions of items or potions (other than using one as a paperweight). Even telekinesis or other non-physical contact is impossible if the owner is in any way touching or wielding the item. Like runes, an item with this curse is unable to be taken off of a character if defeated in battle; however, unlike runes, these items may be recovered from a character that has been permanently killed. In this case, the curse will remain bound to the previous owner. The enchanter can remove this enchantment for the same cost as adding the enchantment, but only if the previous owner is deceased. (Type: Enchantment)

Price: 700 GP

Indestructible - This enchantment prevents any item from being destroyed by any means, regardless of the material used to make it. It is a very powerful enchantment that has been proven to make some legendary weapons and armors last for thousands of years, far longer than their owners. This enchant makes the item immune to the effects of Cie energy. (Type: Enchantment)

Price: 900 GP

Shadow Walk - Usually placed on clothing items, this enchantment allows the user to step into the darkness of a shadow and out of another one in a different location. Shadow Walk may only be used to move around in a single area and not to move from one area to another. This enchantment cannot be used in battle. This enchantment is primarily used to spice up role playing sessions for those characters who like to sneak around in the darkness, it's purpose is mostly cosmetic. (Type: Enchantment)

Price: 100 GP

Summon - This enchantment allows the user to summon the item instantly from any location, no matter how far away it is, even if it resides in a different dimension. Weapons summoned in this fashion can appear either in-hand or sheathed and armors summoned in this fashion can appear equipped, if desired, based on the user's discretion at the time of the summoning. A huge benefit to this is having the ability to parry an attack without actually having the weapon in hand until the last second. This requires no concentration and is not a force effect, so it can be done while distracted or prevented from making force attacks. Summoning an item can be used as many times as desired, at will, and multiple items can be summoned simultaneously (assuming they are all Summon items). (Type: Enchantment)
