Future Solaris
Accessible through the Onaruu Crater's time rift in the Kazarial Desert, Future Solaris reveals the planet thousands of years hence. The continents have dramatically shifted—Skyhold Mountains have eroded into plains, the former Endless Plains lie submerged beneath a vast ocean, and elevated regions of Hinterfall Jungle and Wildlands have merged into a single supercontinent.
All traces of known civilizations have vanished, leaving only scattered ruins in a verdant paradise teeming with lush plant life, though the Grovekin are nowhere to be found. In orbit, a battered Arc Station hangs precariously, surrounded by a halo of debris that silently testifies to some catastrophic event.
Notable Locations
Future Desert
Where the ancient Kazarial Desert once stretched, a new wasteland has emerged with crystalline dunes of iridescent sand that shift like liquid mercury and ancient nanomachines dancing like mirages. Amid this alien landscape, Builder Temple Alpha remains unchanged—a monument of impossible permanence that has endured while civilizations built and crumbled around it.
Ruins of Solaris City
Once a marvel of Solarian engineering that floated majestically above the clouds, Solaris City was brought crashing down during the devastating Neolarian attack. Over centuries, the ruins have been ravaged by time and elements, with little remaining of its former grandeur, though treasures and remnants of the city's past may still lie hidden among the wreckage.
Ruins of the Mothership
To the distant south lie the skeletal remains of the Neolarian Mothership, a colossal vessel that dwarfed even Solaris City in its prime. Its demise came when a desperate Elyndrian act of sabotage triggered a catastrophic chain reaction, leaving a fragmented husk whose twisted metal skeleton protrudes from the earth, visible for thousands of miles.
